Foil Stamping
It is widely used to enhance the visual art of product packaging and the perceived value of the product. Foil stamping is a special printing process, which is widely applied to product labels, holiday cards, folders, postcards and certificates in addition to high-end packaging boxes.
Hot stamping uses hot press transfer to transfer aluminum foil to the surface of the substrate to create a metallic effect. Although hot stamping is called 'hot stamping', it is not only gold in color. Its color is determined according to the color of the aluminum foil. The most common colors are "gold" and "silver". In addition, there are "red", "green", "blue", "black", "bronze". ", "Brown", "Dumb Gold", "Dumb Silver", "Pearl", "Laser" and other colors. In addition, the bronzing process has super strong coverage, and can be perfectly covered regardless of whether the background color of the box is white, black or color.
As a special printing technology without ink, foil stamping is very environmentally friendly and clean, and is very suitable for use in paper packaging. One of the main uses for foil stamping is for surface decoration of product packaging boxes to enhance the aesthetics and value of products. Secondly, foil stamping can also be combined with the concave and convex processes. It creates a three-dimensional artistic sense of the packaging while, at the same time, highlighting its important information, such as: Brand name, logo, etc.
Another key function is the anti-counterfeiting function. Now, once the brand has become famous, it will be counterfeited by many unscrupulous workshops. While showing the individuality of the packaging box, foil stamping also adds an anti-counterfeiting function. Users can determine the authenticity of the product through the tiny details of the hot stamping on the packaging box.
Embossed and Debossed
In order to give your packaging box a premium feel, it is a wise idea to add other finishing touches. Among them, there are two commonly used processing methods that can enhance the visual effect and feel, that is, embossed and debossed. This process can not only increase the sense of hierarchy, but also help to enhance the image of the brand. When it comes to sales, these two processes can increase buyer inclination.
With the continuous development of the commodity economy, the application of packaging and decoration printing technology is more and more extensive. Among them, the embossing process is an invaluable part of the packaging and decoration printing process, which also plays a significant role in processing and decorating packaging boxes.Additionally, it is a technology for perforating the surface of printed matter and paper boxes. This is done in order to make the printed graphics and text more attractive and artistic. This will improve the artistic effect of the packaging box, as well as the quality of the product.
Metallic Ink
The metallic inks contain precious metal particles like copper, bronze, zinc, and aluminum. As the ink dries, metal particles reflect light and create a metalline sheen. Metallic ink produces color and gloss more quickly and easily than conventional inks. However, they are generally less glossy and reflective than hot stamping, which is more expensive and complex to produce. Metallic ink uses the reflection of metal flake particles to produce metallic luster.
Since the optical properties of metal pigments are different from those of regular pigments, the optical properties of the produced metallic inks are also very different from those of ordinary inks. The color of ordinary ink will not change with the change of viewing angle. However, for metallic ink, the change of viewing angle will change the hue and brightness of metallic ink.
Metal ink not only looks low-key, luxurious, and connotative, but in order to achieve good metallic luster, the content of metallic pigment in metallic ink is generally 2 to 4 times that of ordinary ink, so the price of metallic ink is higher than that of ordinary ink. Nevertheless, metallic ink printing is still welcomed by the packaging and printing industry because of its unique expressiveness that can enhance product competitiveness and attract more consumers' attention. Compared with processes such as hot stamping and aluminized film printing, which can also achieve metallic effects.
Holographic Foil
Laser holographic printing, also known as laser rainbow holographic printing, is a high-tech printing process based on optical technology. It can not only reproduce the main image of the original object, but also show the different side shapes of the original object with the change of the viewing direction. Using the white light diffraction grating principle, the laser holographic image is changeable, colorful, distinct, well-bedded, and is widely used in packaging, anticounterfeiting printing, and so on.
Holographic foil has a wide range of uses, and it is also widely used in packaging design. This can make the products more unique and attractive, and increase brand awareness by beautifying them. The added value of the product is also greatly increased with these types of finishes.
UV- Coating
The full English name of UV is the abbreviation of ultraviolet (ultraviolet), which belongs to a special ink in printing, also known as UV ink. Over UV means that a layer of UV ink is applied to the surface of the printed matter. The standard term in the printing industry refers to UV varnishing. It can be divided into full-page UV and partial UV based on the UV area.
In general, full-page UV doesn't have a very noticeable effect. It looks similar to super varnish on the surface, but it is much brighte
The UV process is truly reflected in local sunlight. Partial UV is often used on the album cover, the color box, the company logo, the product pictures, and other pieces to highlight the key words. The text and pictures after UV processing are more textured, more three-dimensional and more prominent.
